1. I can relate to this guy.

Especially this part about having read the bible and know how much it is corrupted by our religious zealots.
And the strange part is that fundies are never challenged and they should be.

Oh but they WILL be challenged - that's my New Year's resolution. Every time one of them opens their pie hole and begins by saying, "the bible says..." I wanna throw up!

And I usually say that they should show me where Jesus said that, because I am a follower of his teachings....and I am prepared to show you what he says.
That is the tack I take with it, and I think it is effective if not to the fundie, to the observer.

7. ours is the most corrupt society, ever

Good job, Raoul. Recently, I read a tome called 'Myth of the Good War' about WW2. I found out (and I read Shirer's 'rise/fall 3rd Reich etc' TWICE since my teens!) that D Day was a hurry up affair after the 'allies' realized the USSR Red Army might well march all the way to the sea unless WE INVADED europe pronto! The nazis were trying to make a deal-to join us in war against USSR etc, and they never really fought us-not like they fought the Russians. But it turns out the US/Allied common soldiers were pro Soiviet - they realised the USSR had borne the brunt of fight against fascism, and were not going to fight USSR! I found out the 1942 Dieppe invasion, where 1800 Canadian soldiers were killed, and more captured, was a feint made to make Stalin think the allies were trying hard (but really the leadership loved seeing the mass murder in the east!) until 1944 when we staged DDay. Then i found out it was the allies who caused the partitioning of Germany in 1945, not the USSR, which the history books all imply. So StALIN GOT blamed for the 'Iron Curtain' and the Cold War, though US nuked Japanese cities to scare USSR (that's why the USSR occupied east Europe-to stay Red Army near to US/allied armies, so we couldn't nuke them.) All this is beside the point of your series, but....i feel defrauded by my understaning of the truth, with our side lying and lying some more. Watching the recent celebrations of fall of 'Berlin Wall', which we in fact forced the Russians to set up, in Berlin, which was 300 miles inside East Germany, under total USSR control until Stalin divided it up as part of Yalta agreement, which the allies then betrayed by forcing German partition-which Stalin opposed!) Jesus Christ. Perhaps some good will come outta all this, if truth can be leaked out. Those uber wealthy criminals have had their way for too long.

I always knew the real reason why we dropped 2 A bombs on Japan (scare the crap out of the Soviets) but I didn't know any of the other facts you shared. Thanks much! It merely confirms what you and I and the late George Carlin said about the US founded on bs.
