3. Which is why they're going to LOSE seats in 2010 regardless of what the MSM says |
|
For the first time in forever, Americans are fully aware that the GOP hasn't done anything to help the country. It's why they have approval numbers in the mid-teens.

5. I soooooo want to believe you but the stupidity of the American voter has me |
|
thinking otherwise.
They are really a group of criminals and voting them into power as often as 'Mericans have, is what has given rise to the corporatacracy.

10. um ... don't you realize that the MSM is the very same MSM which will |
|
be cheerleading for the Repukes, and blowing every minor misstep by a Dem into a major disaster ... with more hysteria than a prom queen with a giant zit on her nose?

The M$M is doing a fabulous job of pointing out or exaggerating every Democrat shortcoming. Republican shortcomings? There must not be any.

As Rachel Maddow and Keith Olberman pointed out last night with headlines from CNN like "DEMS DROPPING LIKE FLIES"
3...three dems...3....one of which improves Dems chances of winning this year.

17. Look at the Dems. We will lose 3 Senate seats and probably................. |
|
............15 House seats, AS OF RIGHT NOW. Who knows what damage the Dems will impose on themselves by November to maybe cause larger losses.

20. Carried away? I don't think I got "carried away". I said 3 Senate.......... |
|
............and 15 House seats AS OF TODAY, you said "in the next 10 months the prognostications will change a dozen times again". That's exactly what I was getting at. This is today, the election is 11 months away. But, after Obama's performance after 1 yr in office, if you were a betting person what do you think the loss/gain would be?

|
Edited on Thu Jan-07-10 05:35 PM by pattmarty
...........looking into a crystal ball, but at this stage the loss of 3 Senate seats and 15 House seats doesn't seem unreasonable or high.
Edit to add: What's your take, then?

...and ran under the Bull Moose party. I heard Glen Beck talking one day, after ranting about how Woodrow Wilson was the most evil man ever, that Teddy Roosevelt was a cancer in the conservative party for starting the national parks... Lol.

I really wish the Republicans could point to anything positive about their "leadership." Useless and incompetent at best. Criminals and treasonous at worst. Let's hope the Dems don't follow suit.

And play "Devil's Advocate" here...
In the last 10 years, can we?
Forget when the Rethugs had a stranglehold on things up through the end of 2006.
I don't see "Main Street" being helped this past 2 years our side has had some control back either.
Not rallying for the Rethugs but seriously, let's be objective instead of a bunch of Kool-Aid drinkers like the other side...
