I recently saw this video in somebody's tagline and it really blew my mind. The visuals in this video really do an amazing job of putting things into perspective when comparing the income of the average American to that of the richest people in the country.

FWIW, I have enjoyed being a member of DU for over a year, have over a 1000 posts (amazing for me) and yet, this is my first posted video. It is just that good.

2. An even better question to ask, is why are the working people being asked
to pay a tax for access to affordable health care?

6. Thanks to you too, Bonobo. I reckon this deserves to go to the top of the Greatest.
The video about Busch's tax cuts that's been posted as a response is really good, too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RktEEazXVY8

BTW I'm fascinated by the Bonobos' use of sex to make peace. Humans could learn a lesson from them.

7. Bonobos treat each other well.
It isn't even real sex, it's mostly playful rubbing.

It relieves stress and forms bonds.

If it feels good, do it.

9. Note that we're talking income here, not net worth.
The Walmart heirs increase their wealth by that amount in a given year - for doing absolutely nothing!!
