1. They have no idea that |
|
they are being manipulated. The primary reason for the creation of the tea party movement was to carry the water for corporate interests, the insurance industry.
These gullible people are, for the most part, naturally suspicious of anything except Fox News misinformation. They will never consider an alternative.

...are scared of a black man in the White House.
Let us not forget the racism proudly displayed at Tea Party events. And it's not just a small side show this racism. How many black teabaggers have you seen? Racism is being used as much if not more than the outrage over the bailout.

2. Only problem here: until they put this on Faux News.... |
|
no tea-partier is going to see it, if they're even capable of understanding it.

a lot of energy is being devoted to dividing Americans to distract and prevent them from uniting against the real enemy. I think this is only the beginning of calls for unity and true change from the bottom up.

can make a huge difference in how easily people are suckered.

I seem to miss so many things here these days. It takes so long to wade through stuff here. For me anyway. :) I also bookmarked that link so I can review it again. Thanks again, Tom.

11. Cenk, you got it right again. |
|
Focus, focus ,focus.
It's the bailouts and the huge corporate bonuses paid out to people who screwed us over in the first place that they should target.
The banking fat-cats cry, " we may lose our best people" doesn't jive. LOSE THEM and replace them with ethical, competent people who do their job right.
Bring back the standards and regulations the banking industry had when I worked there in 1976.
A big K&R!

Cenk had an article on this topic and it was RIPPED TO SHREDS at DailyKos. At HuffPO the reaction was much better, but still. Apparently some Dems really do put partisanship and assumptions ahead of policy and results.

14. The right wing groups didnt co-opt the teabaggers. Tney |
|
created them. They launched their publicity and ralllies. They gave them list of stuff that they should be outraged about--specifically Taxes. "Taxed Enough Already" is the TEA slogan. The negative emails about Obama being inadequate the birthers and socialist were related. Much of the other sloganeering was a little later.
Big right wing interests created the Tea parties -- not coopted them. It was some strong marketing.
