I think he was trying to help her along as she was trying to find the right words. She was in the middle of trying to describe all of the different viewpoints she feels the founders had to synthesize into something coherent. When Beckhole said "bullcrap," Palin was, as usual, struggling to say something that would create the illusion she was knowledgeable.

Beckhole's "bullcrap" was a quick way to help her say, in a folksy way befitting a hockey mom, something that would make it appear as if she knew all about the issues of the 18th century. In fact, she's she's so keenly aware of these issues that she can confidently dismiss the more specious arguments as mere "bullcrap."

If only Sarah Palin would have been there in 1776 she could have helped the founders focus on the truly important issues: gay marriage, the importance of proper exorcisms, lower taxes on the rich, the dangers of reading, the importance of being ignorant, etc.

I'm serious about this. It looked entirely possible to me.

It was obvious that she HAD NO CLUE who any of the founders were. She was flustered and
jabbering like a sorority girl on acid. She stammers on about how they came together
collectively, and then...POOF, she has a name.

I think ol Sarah has wised up a bit. Now she realizes how truly stupid and uneducated she is
