3. Either that or they hit the wrong "button." |
|
I can't imagine any sane person unrec'ing such a good story which I hope has a happy ending.

5. Could be. Most times, though, if they hit the wrong button they say so and apologize. |

4. My guess would be the point of the UnRec was to get you to point it out with the very 1st response. |
|
What is crazy is feeding the UnRec trolls. It has nothing to do with children.

6. Perhaps it's a perverse way of getting the thread kicked. n/t |

7. Kicking is actually more important than Recs for keeping a thread visible. |
|
If I UnRec a thread (in my opinion some threads dearly merit an UnRec) I never kick it with a response. Why would I do anything to move a thread I would UnRec to the top of its forum?

8. K&R! What an incredible story--from the father sacrificing his life to save his son, |
|
this small child's horrendous nightmare, being buried under the rubble, sheltered by his father's dead body, for three days, his ability to stay alive and call for help, his first concern about his mother, his heartrending brave words, "I won't leave without my father!", his heroic rescuer and the heroic Cuban doctors who received him, working in such difficult conditions!
To the rescuer, the doctors and the child...
Well done, dear people! Well done!
