1. That's a great idea putting instructions on youtube! I know I |
|
never know what to say when I've been asked to volunteer for a candidate.
I also love the idea that they have an 800# for anyone needing a ride to the polls! I wonder how you organize something like that? I think it would be GREAT to do that locally, but I have no idea how to begin!

It's always fun to get a reaction, but after helping out with the NC senate campaign in 2008, I was surprised at the number of folks who'd told us they got a call from some other country as well.

Who gives a shit about some stupid pitcher, in a sport that no one watches anyway. If knowing the names of baseball players is more important to you than having good policy positions, than I dont know what to tell you.

Dear Ramulux
You have told me all I need to know. Your lack of political 'street smarts' is obvious. In order to implement policy, one must first get elected. To get elected, one must gather the majority of votes. Now,in your perfect world only those 'enlightened' ones like yourself would be allowed one or more votes. Not the reality, pity. Sooooooo, one must engage in this nasty practice called 'campaigning'. Are you with me so far ? In said campaign, the candidate must relate to both the policy 'enlightened' (yourself), and the unwashed masses. Alas, this may include "standing outside Fenway park shaking hands" Helloooooooooooooo ?????????? And to be honest, the 'unwashed' care more about their family, jobs, wallets, and leisure time (sports, etc.)then your fu_kin policy. After 30+ years in state and local Democrat campaigns, the Coakley Campaign is one of the worst cluster fu_ks I've ever seen. No matter what the polls say, you campaign like your ten points behind.
And tomorrow we will see, won't we?
Kind Regards,
