Says the American people are very angry at Washington. They are angry at the Wall Street establishment. People voted because they wanted change. What they got was a very convoluted health care bill involving special interests. What you have is somewhat of a populist revolt here.

He says we still may have a chance to fix the health care bill. Criticizes the hang up about 60 votes, says we have always had 51 votes.

Says there are options...doesn't think it likely the House will pass the Senate bill since the House has been run over in many things they wanted.

Says it would be a mistake to give up and have no bill at all.

Use reconciliation to get some modest reforms using Medicare and Medicaid.

Says there is a lesson for everybody.

Says lesson now is not to move to the right, NOT to compromise more. It is to speak to your base and stand up for what you believe in.

2. Howard is entirely correct!
People on both sides of the pond are fed up. This latest SCOTUS ruling is just going to piss people off more. If Mr.Obama wants to salvage his presidency, he needs to get back in front of the parade that he started.

6. It was refreshing to hear an interview with Dean
where the interviewer actually allowed Dean to speak - the one I saw with Tweety - Tweety kept interrupting and doing all the talking. I really wanted to get the Dean analysis but Tweety wouldn't let Dean get a word in.
