Rachel just dropped a bomb on Bart Stupak's head

She pointed out that he has paid $600 a month for a swanky room with meals in the Capital Hill C Street mansion for years which amounts to a big donation or subsidy. Did he pay taxes on it? Did he declare it? Who subsidized him? She just handed the Dems ammunition against him just as he battles to thwart health care reform. Expect a lot of huffing and puffing from him over the next few days on this one.

5. What do you expect from the area that the locals call

"Gods country"? The first district of Michigan is the UP and the upper part of the LP including Bay City. He is also the congress critter for Alpena which is well know for their KKK and Aryan nation ties. I went through Alpena in the late 80's and what I remember most is seeing the 3 flag poles with a KKK flag, Aryan flag and a Nazi flag as I entered the city.
