The Rubio story was barely noticeable when it first emerged. We had a Cuban-American conservative poster boy in a heated Senate Republican primary running against Florida Governor Charlie Crist. The headline to the early stories was that Rubio had charged more than $100,000 on his GOP American Express card. Republican leaders were quietly upset that the new face for ultra-conservative politics had used GOP money to pay for bottles of liquor, groceries, personal travel, family car repair and $130-haircuts. GOP critics complained that donors who gave money to the party did not anticipate that one-hundred thousand dollars worth of their contributions would be used as mad money by Rubio.

1. Rubio learned from the best! Jeb!
One good thing about the Tea Party - when the freepers go after each other they shoot themselves in the foot. Don't fool yourself, Crist knows where the bodies are buried, so we may not have seen anything yet.

:woohoo: :applause:

4. awww poor wiwwle baybee..... he was upset about the 130 haircut accusation by Spray Tan Charlie
and said it was only a $20 haircut, and just $100 worth of product!!!!!!

bwahahaha.. nice hair, fancy boy! (hey, they wanna attack John Edwards for his paying too much attention to his looks, then they get it rightttt back!)

I hope he beats Crist, I think Meeks would have a better chance against him, by hammering about the filthy mad money facts, and his right wing political tilt!

U.S. Senate candidate Marco Rubio admitted Friday that he double-billed state taxpayers and the Republican Party of Florida for eight plane tickets when he was speaker of the Florida House. Calling the billing “a mistake,” Rubio said in a written statement that he will personally repay the party about $3,000 to cover the flights because the trips in 2007 were for state business, not politics.

bow at my presence!
