1. Very funny interview, but at the same time, very disturbing.

The whole system is so co-opted. The SEC just didn't want to do anything about this. It's so clear that no one is watching out for any of us.

And who knows what else is swept under the rug. More and more Madoff seems like the Martha Stewart of the ENRON era. The poster boy-scapegoat; hey look over here; gotcha, betcha didn't see 5 more jump in and take his place. How many more are out there being overlooked and under regulated????

4. Some of his clients were useing him as a money launderer...

offshore money that went through his funds garnering matching returns. Most of his clients weren't old retirees that had no idea what they were doing. They figured even if Madoff get's discovered they are safe from American regulators.
