schools are somehow not as good as private schools. That is simply not true.

The children who attend private schools are generally from wealthier, more middle or upper class families than are the children who attend public schools. The children who attend private schools therefore have a head start.

In fact, if you look at teacher training, science labs, textbook availability and many other things, public schools are in many instances far superior to private schools.

Please stop repeating this Republican talking point.

My children went to public schools and did extremely well. We have been sold a pack of lies about public schools.

11. The Catholic Church has as much credibility as Sara Palin.

The archbishop of Denver, Chaput, is representative of the fanatical traditionalists who gained control of the Church following Vatican II. He is in reality a nasty little bastard with a big ego. His argument that the church is protecting the child is a specious argument beyond any measure of credibility. He also puts forth the argument that Catholic parents pay twice for the children's' education in being taxed and paying tuition. The ignorant bastard doesn't realize that thousands of people who have no children are being taxed to educate the children for the good of all society.

It is long passed due that the tax exemption of religious organizations be repealed. I am tired of supporting these demented misfits who don't contribute to paying for basic services. I believe that no public services, including police, fire or medical services, should be provided for these parasites since they don't contribute a dime for their maintenance. Why should I have to provide these services so these maggots can have their children brainwashed by nincompoops.
