2. Thanks! I saw a clip of this on MSNBC, but wanted to post his whole speech...
DK never does anything without thinking it through...

4. I'll go along with that.
Dennis is one of the most thoughtful Congress Critters out there. He knows that he works for WE THE PEOPLE, not them, the corporations.

10. Thanks! I agree completely...
DK has been my candidate since 2003, when he opposed the invasion of Iraq and was called "unpatriotic" for his efforts... He always votes his conscience and follows the rule of law, despite the political fallout... :patriot:

3. I'm glad he did it
The bill isn't perfect but it had more good than bad in it, imo.

6. It is a disaster beyond comprehension. I've read it almost twice.
It is very tedious reading and there is a lot not easily understood. I don't believe it will ever be implemented in its current form or you would have people simply offing themselves. Don't get real sick. Don't get a chronic disease like Type 1 Diabetes.

9. Dennis Kucinich, Democrat, Ohio.
He ran for president in 2004 and 2008 and always votes his conscience.

7. First time I've heard "allopathic" in a poltical speech
And I didn't know he was once a surgical technician. Whatever you think of Dennis, he sure gives interesting speeches. Thanks for posting.

8. You're more than welcome...
When I heard "allopathic," I immediately thought of you... ;)

DK has a very interesting background. When he was young, his family was homeless and lived in a car. We need more with the commitment that he has, following his conscience rather than seeking political gain... :patriot:

11. After seeing this.
I STILL stand with DK. He's doing what he can. It's not his fault that the Cons have propagated all this fear, uncertainty and doom among the people, and want to make it difficult, if not impossible to make healthcare for all a reality. So he takes a detour, big deal. I trust Kucinich to continue the fight that he has been fighting for all this time. If we had a whole lot more like him, things would be different, but you gotta play the hand you've been dealt, and not the hand you hoped you would get, and make the best of it. I believe that this is what he is doing, in this move. Good for him!
