good school districts pay $80-100 for an inaccurate "fair and balanced" text books. More schools will buy Kindle like devices and load them with more decentralized texts that look at history with an unbiased eye.

8. The nation's colleges can kill this by implementing tests that require actual knowledge of history

and science to matriculate. If Texas kids can't get into college, they'll have to rewrite these standards.

9. What scares me is the foregn exchange students have to put up with.

All states get huge money for paticipating in the exchange program. Kids came to learn how our country is run not how better this is.

If children are brought up hearing falsehoods and grow up with prejudice in their homes, there's still hope for them when they get out in the world. But if they learn this tripe in schools, as well, it's going to stick with them, and I see little hope. This is such a disservice to the next generation... :-(
