In the United States, Congress isn't the only place where pressure is mounting to see Obama's healthcare plans go through. As D-day draws near, many people have taken to the streets, many of them in Washington. They want Obama's promise for change to materialise into something that WILL improve their lives.

1. The sign behind her I agree with. No public option in this bill.

Let's see if the Democrats, since now they have no excuse as Republicans are not even part of the discussion, will listen to the American people. They could still do it. If they don't, then the whole pretense that they really wanted to, but those bad Repubs wouldn't let them, will be exposed.

3. And, that's the problem...

...the desire to "settle" for something, anything. A bad bill is better than no bill at all? I think I'll start throwing my vote away on the Green party. It's no more pointless than casting lots with the corporate glee clubs we have now.
