Rep Kucinich answers my question on impeachment & shows again his true committment to accountability in government. He has introduced legislation to impeach Cheney, I hope he follows up with articles against the President as well.

1. This is the best
reason. The abuse has to stop! Why can't people get this. It's like staying with an abusive lover thinking you can hold out til the beatings stop.

2. It is a fitting comparison

If you just try hard enough, they will change. No, they won't.

4. Impeachment Is Not An Option
Edited on Mon Jul-30-07 01:01 PM by Chadius Maximus
It's an Obligation.
Unfortunately, the Democrats in Congress seem to have
their heads deeply embedded in a region similar to the
one where a camera was inserted for Bush's recent Colonoscopy.

7. Cheney will be taken care of first for several reasons
He is Dr. evil....then when "mini me" picks a new vp.......THEN we impeach him.

That way, no balls Pelosi will not have to answer charges of a power grab and most important, the specter of a President Cheney will not be used as a reason to do nothing.

Also, Kucinich has 15 brave, heroic Reps signed on House Res. 333 to impeach dick

IS YOUR REP SIGNED ON?????? We are only a few reps away from getting the impeachment investigations started!!! Call, picket, flyer, go door 2 door, shout on street corners outside ur Reps. office.........make it happen

When a spineless treasonous coward says crap like "we dont have the votes" tell them we didn't have the votes to impeach Nixon either. But....when INVESTIGATIONS start, and the whole country sees exactly what kind of heinous criminality has been done......well, the rats will jump off the sinking ship, and if he doesnt resign in an attempt to save himself from prison and the hangman's noose.....we most def. will "have the votes".

Deadeye dick makes tricky dick look like a girl scout

Remember, treason during war time is a CAPITAL OFFENSE

14. And with this scenario, we don't face the prospect of Pelosi's...
... becoming President through default, and using the office to egage in "bipartisan cooperation" with corporate fascists.

24. I've been working on this issue for a few months
and I whole heartedly agree with your explanation. My Congressman, alas, is a Republican. We've met with him once (to see the we, click on the website below) and also with a member of his staff.

One of our members was able to sign on a Congressman in a neighboring district who is a Democrat, we are most happy about that.

17. Too bad it's, "Off the table."
Oh, and didn't ya hear? Gonzo gets to, "correct," his perjured testimony; how sweet is that deal? Do you think the republicans would ever let a democrat do that? No, they would destroy whomever it was permanently. The democrats are too timid to filibuster supreme court nominees because repubs might, "nuke," them, but the second the republicans are in the minority, they filibuster everything. Ya catching the pattern here? The democrats have rendered themselves irrelevant with 75% of the country backing them. They are willing doormats, it's embarrassing to be a democrat anymore. We are the party of milquetoast and strongly worded statements, but no action.

Edwards cut off half my question when he read it, & Dodd basically just stammered.

Love you Dennis!!!

He could be the next Howard Dean...and this time when the DNC tells us to throw our support behind someone else...we wont listen to them.
