<snip>

This compilation doesn’t even include Baier’s infamous January 2008 documentary "George W. Bush: Fighting to the Finish," on which he remarked:

We talked a lot about President Lincoln. And there’s going to be a lot of people out there who watch this hour and say, is he trying to equate himself with Lincoln?

I tell you what — he thinks about Lincoln and the tough times that he had during the Civil War. 600,000 dead. The country essentially hated him when he was leaving office.

And the President reflects on that. This is a President who is really reflecting on his place in history.

Note that despite Baier’s attempts to back up Bush’s delusional comparison, Lincoln wasn’t "hated" when he left office; he was assassinated just after being re-elected by an overwhelming margin.

1. What a douchebag.
You can tell he practically worships Bush. And he has no respect for Obama.

2. His interview with President Obama was condescending
I watched Joey Baher show on CNN last night, She talked about it and asked why he kept interrupting The President.

The guests she had both though it was over the line for any interview and specially with a President.

9. He seems to have this masochistic need to get validation from FOX et al...
... no matter what he does, and how many liberals he throws under the bus, the extreme right is never going to like much less accept Obama. Such is the tragedy of this presidency.

journalist....A journalist collects and disseminates information about current events, people, trends, and issues. His or her work is acknowledged as journalism.

Reporters are one type of journalist. They create reports as a profession for broadcast or publication in mass media such as newspapers, television, radio, magazines, documentary film, and the Internet. Reporters find sources for their work, their reports can be either spoken or written, and they are often expected to report in the most objective and unbiased way to serve the public good. 10. More bipartisanship ignorance on Obama's part.
FOX isn't doing news. They are doing propaganda and Obama should quit wasting his time with them anymore than he should continue wasting his time trying to find the mythical bipartisanship with the repubs. You can't negotiate with someone or have a reasonable Q and A with someone who wants to destroy you and your administration and your political party. Obama makes a mistake anytime he does anything that gives them any legitimacy.

Outside of the interruptions and gross ideological stupidity and most likely racial undercurrent of the interviewer (aside from that, how did you like the play Mrs. Lincoln) we need more of the media to challenge our elected officials.

11. Someone should charge FOX News with treason
They deliberately spread false information and outright propaganda in an effort to derail the government.

12. No, that would just feed their persection memes
Obama should welcome their hatred of him as a badge of honor, rather than pretending they have anything of value to contribute (both FOX and the RW nutjobs who are running the show for the disloyal opposition).

I didn't watch this interview or hear much about it. God, that was painful to watch, how disrespectful and contemtuous can one be? Painful and hurtful and sad. Ouch. Please never do that again. Lesson learned???

17. Horrible interview.
But it's typical of modern day journalists (except Rachel) -- interrupt, interrupt, interrupt. It was terribly disrespectful to the President of the United States and I hope he never lowers himself to do another Faux News interview.
