It is good to see members of Congress who do care for people around the world and the urgency of a crisis that is taking the lives of children everyday that can be prevented. It is also no surprise to me that the Bush regime is also ignoring this law. Providing clean potable water to nations of the world is how you win hearts and minds. This is how you build strong alliances with countries. When you care and build up, not when you kill and tear down.

Thank you to Rep Blumenauer for his heartfelt testimony regarding this matter.

May this crisis that not only effects Africa but other continents now as well get the attention it finally deserves, as the climate crisis is part of this as well and it is a matter of life and death and a test of our moral character.
