http://www.youtube.com/user/dptilson">dptilson: Our entry in viral video contest sponsored by TheDavidAlliance (http://tiny.cc/RTe16) is special "In Memoriam" edition of "Raging Grannies Rip Supreme Court Five" YouTube video. South Florida "gaggle" of grassroots activists slam Citizens United ruling on "corporate personhood" - channeling the spirit of the late great "Granny D", legendary campaign finance reform activist, who ten years ago, at age 90, walked across America to raise hell about the undue influence of corporate cash on participatory Democracy...helping lead to McCain-Feingold reform legislation - legislation now undone by the heinous Supreme 5 decision, issued 3 days before Granny D's 100th birthday party. She had this to say about the the ruling in the days that followed: The Supreme Court now opens the floodgates to usher in a new tsunami of corporate money into politics. You force us to defend our democracy - a democracy of the people and not the corporations - by going in breathtaking new directions.... Doris Haddock - Granny D's given name - died on March 9th, 2010, but as you can see in this video, the Raging Grannies live by the words of her book title: "You're Never Too Old To Raise A Little Hell"! Or too young, or too middle-aged, or too busy, or too tired...not when it comes to saving our democracy.
