Your video “A Time of Dissent”. We need these reminders of our history now with the Bush admn. trying to turn back time by overturning desegregation of schools, suppression of voter’s rights, attacking Roe v. Wade, our constitution and basic human decency.

What's freaky is, I didn't plan the correlation. It just happened.

A cool note on the Dissent video...I used a lot of the photos I found on the crmvet.org (Civil Rights Veterans group) website and wrote them to inform them of the video. I got an email back from Bruce Hartford, author of the novel "The Gandhi Ring." You can read more about him here: http://www.crmvet.org/vet/hartford.htm. Also, he admitted it was his first time using YouTube and dreamed of having the technology back then. Pretty cool, eh? I highly recommend a look see at his website.

12. Truly Amazing Video

I have been so angry so long. I was angry in 2000, and am still angry in 2007. I've been harassed for my opinion. I've been reprimanded at work for my opinion. I watch this video, and I know that I can't stop speaking out, not matter what the consequences. The aftermath of Hurricane Katrina is the strongest testimony for why this administration has to be the most corrupt evil bastards that ever occupied the white house. The deaths of so many innocent people are on their hands. Hell is too good for them. This video goes up on my website.

And I don't worry so much for myself, but for the legacy my generation will pass on to my children & grandchildren. I will speak against these bastards every chance possible. 15. A friend of mine who once lived not far from New Orleans. . .

just sent me an article that stated Bush was planning on Vetoing the water bills that were passed by Congress to with billions of dollars to shore up hurricane protection along the Gulf Coast. Is this man so clueless about what is going on or is he just that mean? What is up with him? I would be so happy if my tax dollars went to something like this instead of feeding the war machine. What happened in New Orleans is just the beginning. The effects of Global Warming are right in front of our faces, and we'd better do something to help the people living on the Gulf. Halliburton has record profits. What a travesty! The picture of Bush eating cake was just too perfect in the middle of the montage of pics.

16. Bush eating cake is exactly what he did during Katrina

I think it was McCain's birthday on the day of or day after Katrina hit land. The following day he went to a Republican fundraiser in California and the guitar picture was taken there. According to a few reports, Bush wasn't even made aware of the devastation on the Gulf Coast until the following Thursday. Supposedly the WH staff was fearful of interrupting Bush's vacation and informing him of what was going on. I find that story hard to believe but that's what they claim.
