While I am happy that Google gives a chance to the internet generation to talk to their parents through TV ads, the hopelessly half duplex TV channel in which 1 half is always listening while the other half is just talking is a dying medium. I doubt the barrier to entry will matter for much longer. Madison Ave lost its credibility too.

With 100mbps Ethernet throughput you can have HD content through the internet and at that point the old boys network rotting in their mahogany chairs in some corporate HQ are FRECKED! Jon Stewart's team will produce the show in their own $10,000 studio, cut out that pathetic middle man Viacom and charge through online advertisements or product placements which they already sortof do anyway.
