Gravel is a coot. He attacks the entire field in every debate. Nothing makes me dislike a candidate more than bashing the entire democratic field.

...the corporatists and lobbyists fear. He is not properly under their thumb, so they have nothing to gain from him. Expect the static to increase to deafening proportions if he wins in any of the early states.

|
Thank you for posting it... I too can not forgive Edwards for sponsoring the resolution to give Bush the power to go to war.
Gravel and Kucinich are the only truth speakers among the candidates!

his attacks on his fellow Democrats are counter-productive plus he is more conservative then he looks
Edwards and Dennis K are both progressives, Obama is has decent posistions and a lot of charisma, there is a lot to like about the field, i could give a damn about Gravel and him taking him time at debates

If you asked him...."is this kitten cute" (showing a darling kitty) he would go off on a rant
He has 2 speeds.....Mad and MADDER. That is why he isn't being taken seriously.

10. The republicans most certainly are playing political games and quite |
|
...willing to use our troops as cannon fodder and targets. :grr:
Shrub* has no plan other than stay the course until he leaves office in January 2009 and that means more troops killed and wounded and tens of billions of dollars more per month executing the the stay the course strategy. All of the republicans are signed on with this as far as I can see. It is a plan for failure and will not accomplish any victory in either Iraq or Afghanistan. Expanding the war to Iran and possibly Syria as Dick Cheney and republican chicken-hawks are advocating will be a disaster for our troops who are way over extended now and for the country which absolutely can not afford more war and the world which would most likely be dragged into a World War scale conflict.
So the democrats must put even stronger pressure on Shrub to pull back the troops and begin and exit strategy that will bring the troops home by this Christmas or impeach. That would be the right thing for the democratic candidates to do to assure victory for the democratic presidential candidate and broaden democratic Congressional seats in November 2008.
