Threats linked to health votes prompt security

At least 10 Dems receive threats; gas line cut at Perriello brother's home

At least 10 House Democrats are receiving access to increased security after receiving threats linked to their votes on the health care overhaul bill signed into law on Tuesday.

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer said at a Capitol Hill press conference that he is concerned by a rash of at least four incidents of vandalism targeting lawmakers who voted to approve the legislation, which did not receive any Republican votes.

Concern about possible violence escalated Wednesday after a severed gas line at the home of a Democratic lawmaker's brother was discovered.

The slashed gas line leading to a propane tank at the home of Bo Perriello was found Tuesday, one day after Tea Party activists posted the address online and suggested that opponents of the reform bill should "express their thanks" to Rep. Tom Perriello, D-Va.

The FBI is working with local officials to investigate the incident.

They can't keep playing with easily manipulated emotions and think they won't get burned don't they even remember how they turned on Brown. A crazy won't distinguish the differnce between the 2 parties if something serious went donw. The GOP have to vocally call it out as wrong.

7. The subdued tone was all wrong, IMO. They all should be shouting from the
rooftops and almost shaking with rage. The repug threats are unacceptable. Palin and Co. should be arrested immediately.

8. Don't you see
The Tea Party is NOT the GOP. :sarcasm:
They're just average angry citizens who don't speak for the GOP. Now if they happen to vote GOP then they can't help that either. So see someone else dealt it they only smelt it.
