2. I love Anthony but his mistake |
|
was in giving Fox credence by agreeing to appear at all. Fox is so completely unfair and biased that all Democrats should boycott their organization. We should a have a 100% boycott of Fox.
It serves no good purpose to appear anyway. Every time a Democrat/liberal is on Fox they are shouted down. What did regular Fox viewers take away from that little segment? Did Anthony get to explain the bill? Hell no. A complete waste of time, it only served to bolster Fox's credibility.

3. Actually, here is how i view it.... |
|
Clearly Fox is misleading its gullible and very frightened audience and so unless something changes this will always be the case...boycotting will not really help much...it just perpetuates the problem. The best solution really is to ideally have someone very capable, and a true fighter to go on the show and go on the offensive with 100% facts. The hope is that Fox being fox they will spew lie and lie at the fighter and the fighter will attack back with truth...and hopefully those watching will get a new perspective and be enlightened instead of afraid.

pretty good 'true fighter' with 100% of the facts in his favor.
He was not allowed to express his views.
Going on Fox just bolsters their credibility. They should be looked upon as the pariah they are.

11. FAUX is a bit of a catch 22 |
|
You are absolutely right. Any dem that goes on there is basically a breathing strawman. Their credibility with their audience, of course, will go up every time. Their on-air lackey could be ground to a pulp on air, but it would still be spun and edited for posterity to look like the dem was not only crushed, also to seem like a minion of Hell. Sure we all know that. BUT...
The field day they would have with the dems boycotting showing up there at all would be on 24/7. That would be a MAJOR victory for FAUX, and it would not surprise me if that is their ultimate goal. Damned if you go on, damned if you don't.

and HOW do you accomplish that? You can ignore them personally, but that does not stop Fox from lying. You MUST challenge liars OPENLY and TO THEIR FACE.

effectively challenge the lies if they are shouted down. That is my point. Weiner never did get to make his point.
IMO, a better strategy would be to boycott Fox entirely.

14. But 'cept, someone 'very capable', namely Obama, |
|
wasn't even allowed to finish his sentences when being interviewed. Fox has an agenda that has nothing to do with getting the truth out there.

6. Disagree. Of course Fux news is totally phony . . . |
|
Consequently, it's worth doing to make their anchordicks look like fools and lame-o bullies. Weiner handed O'Reilly his ass. It was fun to watch and diminished O'Reilly in the eyes of sane people (admittedly, a thin sliver of Fux's audience).

4. Typical of any so called debate wirh a repuke. |
|
As usual the debate went no where because the right wing nutjob Oreilly would not listen to reason. Opposite sides of the debate will always clash to an end that goes nowhere. Faux entertainment is the least entertaining of any entertainment network. The thing that was missing in this little snippet was Oreilly wasn't where the big red nose.

10. I can understand why you really admire O'Reilly. |
|
He has the qualities that today's Republican admire. Especially his history of calling up his young interns on the phone describing how he is shoving his wife's dido up his fat ass while he is masturbating. FOX not only didn't fire the degenerate bastard, but gave him a new contract to brain wash nincompoops like yourself. He is the arch-tea-bagging idiot of the Repukian Party.

13. Anthony Dodged the Question... |
|
The problem here is Bill is asking a loaded question.
The IRS or another enforcement body will "come after" the person refusing to pay - plain and simple.
The point to be made is - IT'S LIKE ANY OTHER LAW.
This was a fail for Anthony and I FUCKING LOVE him. But... it was a fail.

I'm surprised that the congressman did not give a direct answer to the question.
