How can a man his age, living in America today, really believe all of this nonsense? German space craft? The Germans won World War II? Immediately I thought to myself, "Ok, this guy is nuts." The more he went on though, the more I could almost put myself in the position (mind set, whatever) of a right winger listening to this. 15. In case you're ever talking to someone about this "chip implant registry" nonsense...

Here's what they're referring to. There's a provision in the bill to create a medical device registry for class IV devices including implants. That's what they're referring to when they say "Look, they're going to put chips in us, the mark of the devil, it's right there in the bill, it says implants!!!"

Here's what that part of the bill actually means: A lot of people in the health care industry have been calling for the creation of a medical device registry to keep track of everyone using implanted medical devices such as stints and pacemakers. This is in response to the lack of long-term control and research on these medical devices, some of which are new and still in an experimental stage. There's apparently been a problem with pacemakers which may be faulty or cause health problems in the longrun, and they need to make a registry to keep track of the health condition of everyone using these devices in the longrun. In other words, they're creating a registry of everyone who HAS implants, NOT implanting everyone for a registry.

You'd think that the fact that there's nobody knocking on their door telling them it's time to get their implant now that the bill has passed would be enough to assuage their fears, but it's not. If you happen to engage in conversation with any of these people, first off, tread lightly and God help you, and second, give them the information posted here.
