Tiger Woods may have been playing some sort of game, but for too many Americans, spousal/partner abuse is a very ugly reality. The courts are full of spousal abuse cases. And, of course, spousal/partner abuse often takes place in front of children who are harmed just by having to witness the behavior. I hope that Bill Maher clarifies this.

We will all agree that physical abuse against political opponents is nothing to joke about at this time.

I am a big Bill Maher fan. I hope he will clarify his statement.
