I don't know if you noticed that Sarah Palin is not the only woman and there are some black folks in their ranks too. 50 years ago the women folk were left to tend to the kids while dad did some politickin under the cover of the night and those white hoods of course while black participation was restricted to being props at the ceremony.

This was pretty mild compared to the many town hall meetings where "patriots" excercised their freedom of speech by drowning out congressmen and senators, spewed rude comments, and denied others an opportunity to speak. They should have been arrested! The people who mistreated this protester as he was leaving and had him on the floor should have been arrested.

I'm not in favor of hecklers at rallies. People go to listen to their political views being expressed. To have some loud mouth scream out crap is nothing more than irritating, and it accomplishes NOTHING.

That being said, he should have been escorted out, and that was that. But to have him pinned to the ground, screaming like a stuck pig sort of confuses me. WHY?
