1. And it isn't just Obama.

Most Democrats when they appear on TV fail to counter the right wing distortions. Distortions hell, they're damn lies. I can't tell you how many times I've been disappointed in a weak Democratic response.

2. It seems to me..

..that a lot of the people that believe that he is a nazi and a socilalist and whatever else they're calling him these days wouldn't be persuaded by his argument anyway. The information is out there that disproves these anti-Obama claims, a lot of the right wing nuts have heard the information, but in typical closed-minded style, they let that information go in one ear and out the other.

In other words, if it's not from the lips of Limbaugh, Beck, Fox News or from the text of the bible, they aren't going to believe a word of what anyone has to say. I think Obama handled it perfectly. Came accross as not caring too much what they have to say about him, and that's exactly how a President should be.
