Sort of a very classy and funny guerilla theater. BTW, I understand you took in about 35 cents--would love to hear more about that.

Ed. to add: As Snoopy would say, "You warm the cookies of my heart."

3. Lucy was proud to offer support to the seven people who gave her a nickel
With 2,000 people in attendance however we wish we could have provided more support to the people who really need it. Palin, Bachmann and Sean Hannity were all there but none of them came out to take advantage of the services they badly needed.

4. It is always scary to be among Palin/Bachmann supporters
That being said there were no moments in which I felt that things could get violent or anything like that, most of them tried to turn their heads away and walk by us as quickly as they could.

The first Bachmann rally that I attended a few weeks ago got far more frightening than this one did, at that event I did worry a bit about the possibility that one of them would attack us because they were exhibiting far more thug like behavior. You can read about that event here:

5. Teabaggers fear Love
Edited on Thu Apr-08-10 08:10 AM by annm4peace
I grew up in Freeperville and these people feed off fear, mostly their own.
They love to hate someone.

as they scream at you.. say You know, I really love you.. and they shut down quicker than anything.
and it is very funny to watch.

I think in MN, they know that many "Lefties" could also be hunters and could have guns so they are a little less spastic they are in Conservative Areas.

What really gets me is Why didn't Michelle Bachman hold the rally in her District 6, which could have handled a crowd of this size and has some beautiful areas????

Also, did anyone mention to the attendees that she voted AGAINST a tax break incentive for small business ?

IF anyone needed Lucy's psych care is the supporters of Palin and Bachman.

6. you know, I think that's a really important point
I sure need to be reminded of it, since I completely admit that I absolutely get off on hating the freepers right back and mocking htem........yet I know that what you're saying here is the more evolved perspective, and would actually lead to better results, particularly if more people could get this understanding...........

I really need to chew on this one, because I know also that 'sending forth" love to them does NOT mean allowing them to trample me. That goes for the individual level as well as the national level... global even....
So much to think about and discuss here......

7. I really don't understand
what they mean when they say "take back the country." If they mean take it back from the banks and big corps then I could get behind them, but somehow I don't think that's what they mean. Has anyone on Fox talked about the Wikileaks video? Are any of them outraged about that? I wish someone would pin them down on just what they mean.

Usually their response is 'big government' which translates into no government. Well that would be great if their representatives would stop giving unfunded tax breaks for the top 1%..stop deregulating everything they touch and quit supporting laissez-faire economics. How do they think Wall Street was able to do what it did if not for their congressmen allowing it? No government does not equate to good government for pete sakes.

10. What they mean is...
They want their country back from the Jews, the Mexicans, and the blacks. Its okay create deficits to kill hundreds of thousands overseas in retailiation for 3000 dead in a liberal city they could otherwise care less about.

8. We need more of these "Free Mental Health Clinics"
This would be great on Olbermann, to fill in the gap that the other
free health care clinics don't meet.

:)

9. These Tea Heads
They're so concerned about all the issues but I never hear them say a word about the previous
administrations part in all these current problems which leads me to realize they are completely
ignorant.
