There was a posting a couple of days ago at this site. It discussed how crazy it seemed for repugs to hold their conference in New Orleans, where they brag about their leadership abilities and bad-mouth Democratic leadership, at Katrina's ground zero. This head spinning propaganda initiative was reminiscent of the Repug convention in '04, where they went to NYC, near ground zero, close to the anniversary of 9/11, to brag about how their leadership kept America safe. You can smell Rove.

The fake flyboy draft dodger dressed up in a pilot outfit to tell us the war was over (he was only off by 7 years, so far). Then he went on to make a campaign issue out of his opponent's military service during the war he dodged. The stench of Rove is all over those two initiatives, too.

There are quite a few postings about Phelps pickets on this site. Just another Rove initiative. Rove IS Col. Korn. Instead of being on the defensive every time another one of our troops is buried because of stellar repug leadership and planning, go on the offensive. Use the funeral as a forum to further your nazi repug agenda, scream repug talking points about abortion and homosexuality at the bereaved. Act boastfully about something you ought to be ashamed of.

Just wondering. There is a lot of attention on the very unstable Breithbart, and he deserves all the scrutiny possible. But originally, when the attacks on ACORN were just starting (I mean the '08 - '10 cycle of attacks), we were getting info on Rick Berman as one of the prime movers in the 'Destroy Acorn'jihad. He dropped below the radar, and everyone (Rachel Maddow, Brad Friedman, Max Blumenthal) seems to be focusing only on O'keefe and Breithbart. No criticism intended, they all do great work. Still, does anyone have an update on Berman? Were we able to deport him to Guatemala? (hope, hope)
