4. If it benefited their moneyed backers? Absolutely

In a New York minute.

They have nothing against our selling them the rope with which they plan to hang us.

And yes, we would be in favor of a reform bill they offered--IF it were indeed a reform bill that did some good.
We'd have to get over our initial shock at seeing such a bill, of course..........

11. "CNN enables republicans."
Actually so does MSNBC and NPR. They are just a little more subtle about it and NPR isn't even so all that subtle about it any longer.

6. The CEO & owners of 99% of the corporations are republicans. There is a party
Edited on Tue Apr-20-10 12:40 PM by LaPera
for the rich & their corporations, which is the republican party, and there is also the party for the working class, the democrats....

The republicans (the rich, the elitist) have always fought tooth & nail and continue to do so against any legislation that would help workers - the 40 hour week, overtime pay, unemployment insurance, child labor laws, medical & dental benefits, vacation time & vacation pay, sick pay, work place safety (OSHA), Unions, consumers rights, land preservation, clean air & water bills, Social Security, Medicare, health care reform, equal rights, civil rights, pollution clean-ups, tax cuts for small businesses & the middle class, business & corporate regulations & oversight, freedom of speech and whistleblowing, etc.

Republicans hate, despise and have fought against all the aforementioned....And democrats have fought for all the aforementioned gains, every single one...NEVER ever the republicans, not a single fucking one!

Republicans believe our tax dollars should go to the rich & the corporations in the form of Corporate subsidies (corporate welfare), corporate incentives, tax cuts, tax breaks (or even no taxes for corporations) and corporate bail-outs.

Yet, the dumb, ignorant tea-bagger workers support the elitist corporate fascist republicans.
