1. Is Sue Louden really Sissy Spacek trying to do Sarah Silverman?
Surely this is a comedy routine, not a political campaign.

Mind you, my dad used to get part of his pay in chickens -- back in the 1940s and early 1950s. So, doctors, you may want to prepare for setting up a for barter fee schedule.

2. She's not serious, is she?
Isn't she just coming up with this ridiculous idea to shine a light on how much we need reform?

Rachel did miss paying the school loans for med-school & the malpractice insurance. Can you do that with chickens?

6. Yeah, bartering for healthcare is a great plan...
If you have shit to barter with. I guess urban folks need to start raising live stock in their studio apartments.

This show just how fucking out of touch conservatives are with reality. These are their proposals? Why the fuck would anyone vote for these assholes? They would like it if we were all just fucking peasants.

7. And there are ways to barter in health care - I've always heard it talked about
in "group" payment in cash with a specific doctor but no, she really meant chickens. Clearly, she hadnt thought this out or had any major issues in life arise she couldnt buy her way out.

guh.
Cheers
Sandy

10. This was how the medical profession run for the longest time actually, specially at the time when
women healers, and midwives were the "doctors". They were more accepting of most form of payments, that's until men (and I am a male) turned it to a for profit industry.
