1. Arizona's about to taste a whole lot of lawsuits |
|
It certainly would serve them right, they are asking for it with their racist bill.

3. taxes are going to have to go up in Arizona to pay out all the settlements & lawsuit penalties |
|
the money is going to have to come from somewhere and they can add up to millions in just a single case alone, not to mention hundreds of millions across the state as cases unfold. I hope Arizona has people excited about their tax hikes in order to pay for it.

small things add up when everyone does them
If I were a higher-up at Southwest Airlines, I would move traffic out of Phoenix entirely and split it off to their hubs in Albuquerque, Ontario, El Paso and Las Vegas.

That's what makes the "new rule" so unfair.
Anyone that is White will never get challenged.
It broke my heart to see the young college students that had chained themselves to the school doors.
It reminded me of the Civil Rights movement days that I leaved through. Many of my friends went to college in the South and participated in the struggle.
The African American students were a huge reason why the sit ins were so successful.
The images of the passive resistance went around the news by snail News and people woke up -smart people did anyway.
Now we have instant news. Let the boycott of Arizona begin!

AZ calls itself the Grand Canyon State, yet chills everyone's opportunity to visit this wonder by threatening to harass, annoy, intimidate everyone who travels there, AND by disrupting the free flow of commerce within the country. I hope folks, all folks, regulars, businesses and politicians, observe and learn somethings about the MEANING of a 'federal system.'

Do you know how any foreign visitors who are of all skin colors and don't speak English visit the Grand Canyon a year?
Not as many this coming summer as last year I bet....
AZ fools!

10. So where are the people who claimed this wouldn't happen? |
|
It already is. Now anyone with brown skin has to carry their Birth Certificate with them or be thrown in jail? Atrocious.
And anyway - what does a birth certificate prove for anyone? It's a piece of paper with a name on it. There's no way to link it to you anyway, so why would it even be considered a form of identification?
The fact is, it's very difficult to prove someone is or is not a certain person. The burden of proof should be on the government to prove you are NOT legal, not the other way around.
