1. It's true, I live it.
I live in Europe. On a recent trip to California I developed a toothache, and was told by the dentist (visit, $60) that I need a root canal for almost $1000. I called my dentist in Europe and she said it would do it for a 1000, also, but in the local currency -- or about $50. So a round trip ticket to Europe and this dentist's work would cost less than the dentist in California.

2. I think that you could afford the procedure.
I just had a stent placement that left me with $17,000 worth of bills after suffering an heart attack. I have no health insurance. I love these 'rich people' alternative ideas that Joe Average citizen is ignorant of and can not afford.

6. Where in Europe?
I live in Norway, and believe it or not, our universal health care does not include dental. I payed about 1200 US for my root canal two years ago.

7. Cuba is good, inexpensive and allows it
Except they're supposed to be "evil" because they won't let the Gueros still have slaves.
