House Majority Whip James Clyburn's World Famous Fish Fry follows the South Carolina Jefferson-Jackson Dinner, but it might be better than the main event. (Just look at the t-shirts: electric blue, emblazoned with "Jim Clyburn's World Famous Fish Fry" on the back.)


But what makes it truly special is the … dancing. At the annual party Friday night, the dancing skills of 70-year-old House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, together with his pal, the 69-year-old Clyburn, were captured on video and immortalized for eternity as the two burned up the floor doing the electric slide.


"You thought the fish was hot, but their moves were burning up the dance floor!" Clyburn spokeswoman Kristie Greco told POLITICO.
