1. Ahhhhh shouldn't that be neo con not neo liberal? It wasn't the liberals that caused this
current mess it was neo cons trying to re live the glory days before Herbert crashed the market in 1929.

2. No, "neoliberal" has a particular meaning which dates back...

...farther than "neocnservative", especially in terms of economics. You can look up the exact history and meanings of the term, but basically it derives from "liberalizing" (in this context meaning 'removing constraints from') markets. "Constraints" being regulations, tarrifs, unions, etc.
