1. So she skipped over all the wonderful tunes of republican songsmith Orrin Hatch to go with that? |

4. Y'know... his warbling rendition of it.... |
|
....did sound like an eagle being buggered.
That followed by La Palin's screechy voice intoning all manner of word/crap salad might be enough to warp the time/space continuum.

7. I think it's common practice- even for a quitter. |
|
Edited on Sat May-01-10 07:20 PM by WhoIsNumberNone
They still introduce Al Gore as "Vice president", Howard Dean as "Governor" (I've witnessed both of these in person) I'm sure even Richard Nixon was introduced as "President"- especially at Republican events.

I just think that when someone quits, is impeached, resigns due to certain circumstances (such as Nixon did) they should not be allowed the honor of keeping the title. Just because it's common practice, doesn't make it right.

6. Does she give the same speech at every stop she makes? |
|
It seems as though I could almost give this speech along with her I've heard it so many times.
She must be the worst offender of all the Republican copyright violators. Does she even understand what a copyright is? Is there anyone from ASCAP on DU? I'd love to see one of you turn up at one of these Republican shindigs and slam them with a fine.

but I bet if you were forced to hear Michele Bachmann give the same speech she'd have you jumping out of the 12th story window sooner...

15. No, and here's why... |
|
...Bachmann is just stupid and annoying.
Palin has added a clueless "swagger," a "swinging of her ****." to her "branding."
She discovered early on that arrogance and sarcasm equaled "woo hoos" from the unwashed and inbred segment of her audience.
Bachmann, as much as I dislike her, doesn't lean as hard and consistently on these two character flaws as Palin does.
Palin is too damned smart about WHO she is and WHAT she is. Playing to the cheap seats resulted in her $12 million paycheck. She's only going to get worse, because her lust and desire for money is a bottomless pit, just as Jethro Bodine could never get enough of Granny's possum and red-eye gravy.

13. I'm so sorry. Turn that sound down, you need them all! |
|
If too many kill themselves, the only ones left will be inured to the sound of her voice, and we all know what that can lead to! :hide:
