So, I just shot a video for a great woman, who I want to be my next congresswoman.

I'm a big believer that 'Change We Can Believe In' goes beyond merely beating McCain/Palin. I believe it includes getting more non-corporate progressives elected to congressional offices nationwide. It means proving that the power of votes can overcome the power of lobbyist cash.

To that end, I'm a strong supporter of Marcy Winograd, my friend and local progressive challenger to the incumbent Jane Harman (who referred to herself as "The best Republican in the Democratic Party"). That's why I shot this piece, as we head into "Winograd-vs-Harman: The Rematch". If we score a progressive victory here in CA-36, it will help our brothers and sisters in upcoming primaries across the nation.
