Yes, things were bad then. No excuse for the National Guard to do what they did.
I was ostracized by some for my anti-Vietnam war stance. They have all now changed their tunes. Illegal war then, illegal war now, we are the aggressor. Protest at your own risk, then and now.
What a country.
