1. He's always been the guy I was worried about over there. |
|
He's gonna have a lot of room to stretch his legs if he takes up a populist campaign on the Republican side.

2. Southern politicians have always confused me |
|
They can come off sounding like salt-of-the-earth populists with silver tongues, yet when they get into office (the conservative ones at least), they turn into rattlesnakes. Huckabee is one of the rattlesnakes.

was being felt by Mr. Huckabee.
Mr. Skvara's interview on Hardball had just preceeded Mr. Huckabee and he knew that he needed to sound nice.

5. If I were Republican, I'd be for Huckabee |

I have seen Huckabee, Tancredo, and Brownback in person and Huckabee is by far the best out of those 3. Here is my write up from the Huckabee event... http://commoniowan.blogspot.com/2007/07/huckabee-wants-leaders-to-work-to-get.htmlIf Republicans are smart Huckabee would be on the ticket.

6. Is this guy pathological?! |
|
I don't agree with republicans that often, but I agree with what he is saying, and his delivery is rather convincing. Either I have some misconceptions about this guy, or his skill at lying is genuinely psychopathic. I am going to assume the latter given that this guy is a religious reich candidate. This tops the list of most bizarre events of the campaign season so far.

About economic justice than social justice, its just sort of an old left mentality i have, both are important, but i would take a republican populist over a neocon anyday.
or we can just elect edwards, obama, or my man dennis

7. He's a dumbass--he believes that Iraq and the war on terra is a much more |
|
important effort than WW2. Because in WW2, we were just fighting over land, but now, it's religion and the American way! Effin' scary. Doesn't believe in evolution. And his son faced juvenile charges for beating, hanging, and slitting the throat of a dog. Methinks Huckabee has some psycho shit going on in his mind AND his personal life.
