This is the summer we were going to finally return to the Caribbean and dive. It has been far too long, almost 10 years and we miss it so much. We will have to wait and see now where it might still be good. I have been diving in Curacao, it is a special place. The corals and sponges were prolific as well as an abundance of other sea life. It would be such a terrible shame to lose it all for so many reasons but the beauty of it, how could we destroy this or even risk it I will never understand.

4. Lots of brain coral in the video! |

I haven't been diving much and haven't done so in a very long time, but my brother used to certify instructors, and he certified me. I recognize many of the critters in this video. The video is very well done--it captures the behavior and expressions of the critters well, no?
I just talked to him about this recent disaster, and he is just sick about it. In fact, I'd venture to say that he is nothing less than VERY PISSED OFF--and he's not a lefty by any means.
