I don't get this one, either. Freepers on DU are getting their just desserts 'cause Elena Kagan got nominated? Freepers can read?

Though I think she's odds-on to be a disastrous Associate Justice (Clarence Lite, anyone?) Kagan's a perfect choice for Obama: a technocratic sorta-achiever with a scant track record who is conciliatory and inert and fills one or a few multi-culti slots. In short, a great resume with no bona fides. I heard someone point out that she wrote a law review article in favor of First Amendment protections. That's outstanding, but also makes legions of high school sophomores nomination material.

How this choice might offset the aggressive corporate mafia on the court is anyone's guess, but I'm gonna mildly suggest it's not gonna work out. But that's just me - a soon-to-be-blocked bloke guilty of thinking on DU. Meh.
