Religion is merely being MILDLY criticized and the poor put upon Christians and Muslims are freaking as if they are about to go under. There's a fucking Church or Temple within walking distance of every courthouse in this country... but we need the 10 commandments in the courthouse too? A bill board espousing something different than the supernatural for solving your problems is vanalized...it gets a mention. Vandalize an ugly cross in the National Park that is a desert, the we MUST get the government involved!!!!

Religion is not being attacked... but common sense demands that it defend itself, if it can. (It can't...it always turns to ad hominem attacks, appeals to authority or age, and violence instead.)

Which I assume most people consider Maher to be. To put together a TV program that can have conservatives & liberals exchanging ideas and basically getting along. I'd love to see more of this on non-subscriber channels. I don't see anyone I would consider to be on the far right that has panels and is able to hold civil discussions on TV.
