It appears that at least 60-minutes is attempting to report the facts. Kind of a rarity these days.

This BP oil spill has me LIVID with disgust and outrage!!!
British Petroleum needs to be dragged to a firing squad and shot DEAD --all of them. Halliburton, Transocean and -- while we're at it, Blackwater too, just for the fun of it!
BP needs to loose the right to exist – they are just plain evil, money hungry bastards. We don't need oil this badly.
All off shore drilling needs to be stopped - NOW! No more drilling in the United State - PERIOD!
I am way beyond anger.

15. It's a world ecosystem. |

There should be no offshore drilling anywhere. We have such a great start on solar, wind, hydro, etc...that if we would begin our switch to these alternatives, the BIG improvements in this technology will naturally follow. We could end the need for destructive power sources (including nuclear) relatively soon. Obama campaigned on this, but apparently, the oil money was too much. We could employ our nation (living wages) and stop our destructive dependence on foreign oil in an intelligent way. The ruling class know that even if we drilled worldwide for oil, there is still a limited supply. That is not the case with solar, wind, hydro, etc... We have to take our government back and return a voice of reason which will also improve almost every aspect of our lives, worldwide. "They" know this, but it is not as immediately profitable for THEM. FUCK THEM. They are a tiny minority of a minority. Let's return majority (and sane) rule.

Sorry, I didn't see your post when I posted a dupe. I've asked the mods to delete my post. But damn, this is so devastating it really can't be seen by enough eyes.
Thanks lame54, you're always on top of it.

needed him and several more like him. This is the first information I've seen putting this together - the first time I heard and viewed this. Thank you lame54, CBS.
Ring is what I remember them calling it for the space disaster.
Gasket for this below water disaster.
And in this CBS story the Horizon project was compared to the space program for the feats of technicality. I won't forget this.
Our only hope for the millions of people and sea life is a miracle.
What a gift we already received with the fisherman or whoever it was that pulled Williams out of the water and the will that Williams came through with and his will to share.
How blind these profiteers are to the people, the coral, the beautiful sea life - the exquisite dependencies.
How blind are our political leaders and how in-the-pocket they are. We get leaders who lead for the corporations. We allow this.
We are absorbed by the three s's of serials, shopping, sports. We've been ignoring sea & sky.
Now we brace ourselves for the fall out. Now we learn a little more about our interconnectivity.
