Right wing bloggers (Michelle Malkin among them) are claiming that the Miss USA runner-up lost to the hot Muslim because of Morgan's support of the Arizona Immigration law (SB 1070). I'm surprised that Cenk didn't talk about that as well. He did a great job of taking down Debbie Schlussel, though. Cenk is right. There is only one reason why Rima Fakih won. She is super hot.

... for her exposé of Sean Hannity's 'Freedom Concerts' which she calls a "huge scam". The headline for her recent article: "Sean Hannity’s Freedom CONcert Scam: Almost None of Charity’s $ Went to Injured Troops, Kids of Fallen Troops; G5s for Vannity?"

She said the injured troops and the families of fallen troops would get more dough if Hannity didn't demand the use of a Gulfstream 5 plane to fly him & his family/entourage to the concerts; a fleet of either Cadillac or Lincoln SUVs and several suites at really expensive hotels for him and his family/entourage.

At least ol' Deb isn't in total lockstep with the right-wing and isn't an apologist for it's con-men commentators.

18. If she is an American Citizen, then she has the absolute right to

enter and win the Miss USA Contest. If, however, she was in Michigan on a visa from another country, she would not have that right. As more and more people from other nationalities become American citizens, more will win beauty contests, executive office jobs, police chiefs, etc. If the rate of this happening is any indication of future trends, then calculating the multiplier effect, the US will be a very different place in 2050. More like Beruit or even Baghdad. This has to happen. Caucasians, even those in lower income stratas are having fewer children. In upper incomes they are having one or none at all. Same thing happening in France. Arabs and Latinos are having many children. But no laws are being broken; it's just a natural progression. Have to live with it, but one can still enjoy the memories of 1950-1960 when things were different.
