During First Lady Michelle Obama's visit to an elementary school in Silver Spring, Md., Wednesday, a second grade female student brought up immigration reform in a very personal way.

The student shyly raised her hand and said, "My mom ... she says that Barack Obama is taking everybody away that doesn't have papers."

Mrs. Obama replied:"Yeah, well that's something that we have to work on, right? To make sure that people can be here with the right kind of papers, right? That's exactly right."

The girl then said quietly, "But my mom doesn't have any ..." and trailed off.

Mrs. Obama replied: "Well, we have to work on that. We have to fix that, and everybody's got to work together in Congress to make sure that happens. That's right."

If it were me, I would have grabbed that kid by the collar and said "Listen here you little shit! My husband is NOT kicking you and your family out for not having papers. Do you understand me!!! Now you go tell your mom that it is the teabagging, racist SOBs over in Arizona doing that. You got that!?!? Does anybody else have a question?"

Then, she should have switched to... so... everybody knows how important it is to know your home address right? You wouldn't want to get lost. So what is your address little girl. Is your mommy home now?

I just assumed that the second grader came up with the question on her own. There are some perceptive people out there :sarcasm:

For all the people out there that are so proud of themselves for figuring out that the question was actually planted and the little girl didn't come up with it herself, I grant you.... One kick to the head!
