I worked with Garland Robinette at WWl-TV in New Orleans and he is awesome. This commentary needs to be heard by one and all!

I can't convince some of my friends just how bad and devastating and how far reaching and how expensive this disaster can ultimately become.

2. Robinette thinks Hyannisport is abusing Louisiana? He would do better to look at the representation

his own state elects.

3. You Don't Know Garland Robinette.

Garland Robinette is very much in favor or raising the standards in New Orleans and Louisiana. He is out spoken about corruption in the area, and after Katrina was one of the strongest voices supporting rebuilding of the city. I listened to countless hours of his show as he worked to assist people, he provided air time for representative of the various assistance programs to answer questions in a call in format. He is not without his flaws, but his heart and head are the right place.

Garland has a long history with NOLA in his youth he was a local Anchor Man and married his co Anchor Angela Hill, which of course did not stand the test of time.

4. You are correct, that is the only clip I've heard. So blaming the Northerners isn't a standard

standard theme with him? How unfortunate that the only clip where he throws in a gratuitous "Hyannisport" happens to be the one I heard, because that sounded really Beckish.
