2. If Kerry/Edwards people had had it, and used it for the 2004 election, it could have helped |
|
Edited on Sun Aug-12-07 10:25 AM by brentspeak
Then again, the people running the show for the Kerry/Edwards campaign were largely a bunch of total incompetents.

When there was that whole march to war and all.
Oh, it wouldn't have mattered. If we'd brought it out we would have been accused of thinking with a "Pre 9-11 Mindset" "9-11 Changed Everything."

5. So, Cheney deliberately took the US into a quagmire by going to Iraq! |
|
Bush and Cheney knew this was a bad plan and intentionally put the US into a war they knew, we could not win!
However, they did find a worthwhile use for Iraq; Halliburon- could earn tens of millions of dollars and gain a perpetual client. The biggest pay-off would be control of Iraqi Oil!
We've been living their LIE, at the cost of thousands of American lives!

7. Always heard the quote. Never saw the vid. |
|
I first read the quote back in 2003, and always wondered if there was a video.
Why did it take so long for someone to dig it up???

time ago. He knows EXACTLY why we should not have invaded and occupied Iraq. But there was just too much money to be had for the oil companies and Halliburton. This is sick. He should be held accountable. To the Hague. He needs to be divested of every dime he's got!

11. In 1994 Dick Cheney was formulating the policies to get back into power |
|
....so as you can see what he said and ultimately what he forced onto the U.S. in 2003 were totally different. In 1994 Dick Cheney was already joining with the neoconservatives and putting together a plan that would become PNAC just three years later. This guy has always been a liar and will lie with his dying breath. Impeach this bastard now and get him out!

"God, I hope Clinton doesn't make a deal with the multinational oil companies to send in the US military to secure the oil for the multinationals, because I want to be the guy who does that deal."

|
Here you have it by the one man who knew full well why America's interests would not be served by such an invasion.
Bad for America, good for Halliburton and Republican- contributing business interests. Look who won out.

13. We should have listened to this guy |
|
He was 100% on target with every point. 13 years he described in considerable detail exactly where an invasion would leave us. He didn't get a single point wrong.
This guy gets it. Why couldn't we have just listened to him?

said that he can barely recognize his colleague from the Bush Sr. administration. My pet theory is that his brain was replaced by an AM radio: "The insurgency is in its last throes."; "Hogwash" (in reference to the bold suggestion that serious mistakes were made in the prosecution of the war); Cheney called Iraq the "geographic base of the terrorists who had us under assault now for many years, but most especially on 9/11;" etc. If we could just change the station to a traffic report or something, he could once again say useful things.

This guy is straight shooting.
Wait, can we now accuse Cheney of being a terrorist sympathizer? He is questioning the government's role in Iraq. That dirty commie, Cheney!

of their resources...duh...create a quagmire a fog of war where astronomical sums of money and resources are being transferred without much bookkeeping....and gee that is exactly what happened.
What is this the umpteenth smoking gun and the 2nd rubber stamp congress?...The only way this is going to end is a massive Mahatma style of uprising.

31. YES, use it and PASS it on!! |
|
Research and you'll find TONS of evidence that Bush/Cheney planned to invade Iraq PRIOR to coming into office in 2000 if they could find a reason for doing so. Why? 1) To avenge Bush #1. 2) To secure and control Iraq's oil reserves. 3) To carry out the Neo-Con ideology of making history and a legacy for themselves by setting up a quasi-democracy in the Middle East which they think would domino across the region (and then they could really cash in on the oil). VERY FOOLISH AND ILL-CONCEIVED!! Yes everyone, email the link to this video (as I have already done) to everyone on your email personal email lists and to every Democrat and Democratic campaign that you can. We should definitely use it because we have to continually remind EVERYONE how badly we need MAJOR change from Bush/Cheney in '08, and we have to use every single tiny piece of ammo we can find to do this. The ReThuglican Prez candidates are Bush/Cheney lite at the very best and fraternal twins at worst. We must remind Americans of this each and every moment from now until election day. We need to attack these bastards bigitime this time and demoralize them with the idea that a Democracrat (and yes, EVEN HILLARY, if she is nominated) WILL defeat the ReThuglican nominee!
