1. He's gotten really weird over the years I guess
My grandmother knew him back in the 60's and 70's and found him to be a rather charming individual (translation -- he wasn't a reich wing nut)
Grandmother passed away in 2003.
If she were still around she'd be damned disappointed that he became a tea-bagging, palin-loving, anti-immigrant hack
