I don't like Lt. Choi. I think he's angry and bitter towards President Obama and the Democrats. I think he's fighting the very people that are trying to solve his problem.
The Republicans are the party voting against this amendment, not the Democrats.
I think he's too angry. He's smart enough to know how difficult this is for the President and the Democrats. I think he's letting his frustration and anger cloud his judgement.
That's why I said whatever.

Especially towards the democrats. We know the repubs are bigots, that's no news, but the dems pay lip service and then back down when it comes time for them to uphold their end of the bargain. How many years of this nonsense can we expect people to take while they lay down their very lives for a country that would spit in their face as a matter of course?
I, for one, admire LT. Choi. There aren't enough voices like his out there, and he does what it takes to get that voice heard. His words from outside the police station after he was arrested for chaining himself to the white house fence were very inspiring, I found.
One day, readers of history will look back on him with smiling eyes.
I understand if Choi isn't your style, but it's not "whatever." Someone needs to hold feet to the fire over this, otherwise it will just disappear until the next landslide democratic victory. I don't think we can afford to wait that long.
